I have a few ideas how I'd like to build this set but I'm looking for suggestions, shoot away!

Battle rifle, bench gun, 3Gun platform? What’s primary intended use?

No bench, no 3 gun, hopefully no battles. I want a light multi-purpose awesome firearm, I'm going to take my time with it for a semi high end build.

Definitely be careful with the bolt catch roll pin when putting that bad boy together.

I think thatd be one to hang over the mantle when it's all done.

Yeah, that pin is my biggest worry. Got it @ Calamity Janes, She also has The Jack & a couple other evilly sculptured lowers.

Not sure where you are located, but I have a rubber coated pin set just for the bolt catch pin

I'd need a thordson type stock tho to run 50B, I cant top load my 458S so It has to be featureless or smallish caliber.

Could always have the removable side panels from the FRS-15 Gen 2 hydrodipped to look like wood??? Don't know how that would look though. This state sucks.

I was going to say, seems like it wouldn't be out of the question to make your own copy cat frs-15 from wood.

That's going to look nice when done.

You can put the bolt catch roll pin in with a pair of channel locks. Get it started a little. Put electrical tape on the side that will touch the lower and squeeze it in slowly.
