Any Weatherby fans out there? I have a stainless synthetic Mk V in .30-06, been debating on sending it in for Accubrake. Just wondering if anyone here has experience/thoughts.

I have a Browning A-Bolt .308 I got used with their BOSS brake, which is similar. It works, as you can tune the barrel harmonics for the bullet weight. I was shooting 1.5” groups with XM80 military ball ammo, adjusted the BOSS for 150 grains, and it dropped to .75 groups. Match gets close to .5 moa @ 100 yd.
YMMV; what do you use the gun for, and how much for the installation? If it’s mostly a deer gun, I wouldn’t do it, but for a paper punch, maybe....

I have always wanted a BAR in 30-06 with the BOSS attachment. Fellow at the gun shop said you can't have that in NY because it is a threaded barrel. Anyone know if that is true?

It is a deer gun for sure but since getting it in November I have really come to like this gun and will likely be getting a lot more trigger time.
Maybe I'll just spend the money on ammo, lol.

Moron's law strikes again. Beautiful gun (Mk3), I'd love one too...
I wonder when the last homicide occurred with a modern BAR? or even one of WW2/Korea vintage?
EDT: I just realized they don't offer the BOSS on the MK3, so it's good to go in NY.
