The gun, ammo, car that brought him there, sneakers he was wearing, or the pants he put on didn't make the decision to kill. HE did. HE is responsible. HE should pay the price. But......there's no money in suing a kid locked up in jail, now is there? Had he driven a car through the school parking lot mowing down his classmates, would their be a suit brought on Dodge, Ford, or Chevy? I think not.

Just another avenue/pathway for the denier's to attack firearm ownership by shutting down that loophole of being able to purchase ammo online at all... They want face to face transaction with DNA sampling taken and a 7 day waiting period for the purchase of only 2x the capacity of your firearm with and additional 30 lead time for factory imprinting of your DNA onto every shell casing prior to pickup once you've received your State issued purchase order (per transaction) and return of previous spent shell casings. Only one permit PO shall be issued per 90 days, per person.

How does Everytown have standing to sue? Did the child of one of their members die, or get injured, there?
*note: the parent would have had to be a member BEFORE the incident for Everytown to have even the glimmerings of standing.

This should be thrown out.

If they can sue gun manufacturers, then this would be correct! Culpability will be very loosely applied... So I agree, every single victim of a violent crime should sue...
