A moment of weakness, I am so not ashamed. We're here for you brother. We understand. No judgement.
Sort of.Hey doesn't Phazer have one?
You can get sleeves for full sized mags to use with it. That would extend your grip. I picked up mine for under 500.Sort of.
I've got a Para P10-45. It was the immediate precursor to the Warthog. It is a compact 1911-style double-stack 45acp 10+1. I bought it from a relative.
As soon as I shot it, it immediately became my least favorite pistol. Plenty of recoil. Not fun to shoot. But, as a night stand gun, it'd be fine.
I'm fine with the grip size. I've got fairly small hands and I'm used to compact grips (Glock 43, Glock 42, LC9s, XDS 9mm, and rifle spur grips). You can get sleeves for full sized mags to use with it. That would extend your grip.
Yeah pocket pistols can get a little hairy. My Kimber is the same size as the warthog and I also have a full sized para frame with a 3 inch colt slide on the top of it. My little 45s bark pretty good.I'm fine with the grip size. I've got fairly small hands and I'm used to compact grips (Glock 43, Glock 42, LC9s, XDS 9mm, and rifle spur grips).
I'm just not thrilled with compact 45acp pistols. I like my full-size Sig Tacops 45. I don't care for my Glock 36, either.
Any one know what's the difference between .45 ACP and .45 GAP other than size asking because seen a clean used Glock in .45 GAPYeah pocket pistols can get a little hairy. Unless you can find a stash of 1000 rounds of 45 GAP ammo or brass I wouldn't touch one.Any one know what's the difference between .45 ACP and .45 GAP other than size asking because seen a clean used Glock in .45 GAP

Thats saweeeet,I had not planned on buying any guns this year, I was just going to build a couple and call it good. Then I walked into my LGS today and found a Para Ord Warthog like the one in the picture. View attachment 24352
Not my gun.
Good to hear. I’d love one. Well not about the frame cracking, but about loving the lda.My first 45 was Para compact LDA. Loved that thing, gone now. I remember that the frame cracked tangent the mag released. Para replaced the frame no questions asked.
Yes. It's not severe. It is certainly manageable. But, it's not a fun pistol to shoot. I find the Glock 19 much more usable, easier to get follow up shots on target, and has a higher capacity.Issue with the G36 is recoil?

I always thought overtime money was for pleasure.I feel for you. Was in Pleasant Valley the other day "working". Figured I'd stop by Quattro's to see what he had. Sometimes he gets some old stuff in and I'm looking for a Type 38 rifle. Turns out he just got in a Type 26 revolver. That set me back more than a few Benjamins.
Went on down the street to see Scott @ Civil Armory. He gave me a sweet deal on an SCR lower.
Damn! 24 hours of OT gone in less than half an hour.

I I haven't used the Kimber Micro 9:Do you think that something like the Kimber micro 9 would be more fun? Roughly the same size, less recoil.
I I haven't used the Kimber Micro 9:
I do have a compact 1911 9mm from RIA:
My RIA is a heavy piece of metal. That makes it very manageable as a 9mm pistol. However, its weight and thickness rules it out as a possible carry pistol for me. I'm sure that the fit and finish on the Kimber is superior to my RIA. I've got to smooth/debur the left hand side of my posterior grip where it hits between my thumb and index finger. It is machined with too sharp of an angle and cuts into my hand.
I have one. It is a bit snappy. It is lighter and thinner giving it more perceived recoil, plus the backstrap digs into the heel of the Palm.Do you think that something like the Kimber micro 9 would be more fun? Roughly the same size, less recoil.
