Westchester County Amendment Question

Hey guys,

I currently have my Westchester Pistol Permit. I bought a handgun online and am having it transferred to a local FFL. I have never bought a handgun online before, so I am unsure on what to put on the amendment paperwork and the required steps that I need to do in order to add the handgun to my permit.

What FFL do I list on the amendment form? The dealer that I bought the handgun from, that's in another state? Or the FFL that is going to do the transfer for me in NY? Also, I need to put the serial number, of the handgun, on the form. Do I call the transferring FFL once the handgun is delivered and ask them for the serial number? And the last question...Do I need the receipt for the handgun with serial number on it, and submit the receipt with the amendment form?

You want to use the Local FFL info.
I had mine transfer to a local FFL and when it came in made sure it was the correct model and their was no issues (i suggest you do the same so you can return it if need be), there wasnt and i recorded the serial and sent the paperwork in.
Three weeks later I picked her up.
