A) What you need and/or...
B) Something you don't need but the price is right and want to increase stock and/or...
C) Found an amazing bulk deal and do not have that round but the price was so good it is worth finding a barrel and/or gun for this. (This happened with the tokarev)
I see not point in me suggesting Shotgun Shells if you do not have a shotgun or don't need them or they are super expensive and hard to get.
One may look at some reloading options anyway.

Depends what you’re shooting I guess. My 870 is always loaded with Federal Flight Control buck. It will punch a 2”hole in the target with that being the maximum spread of the pellets in my house. So aim is kinda critical for me.
Ammo Supply Warehouse has that in stock at last check. If not that they also have Fiocchi HD buck and it’s decent but double the spread.. at least.

It is even harder to believe when you walk into a place like Collectors Rfle and Ammo in Hopewell Junction and they are literally stacked with guns and cases of ammo.
