Good investment for when you’re older. He gets a good paying job so he can take care of you when you can’tCollege for my son, only slightly more fun than foundation repair.
Same. I hate letting the .gov hang onto my money all year. I usually just about break even each year.We just put the more that is returned to us in the bank.
I have done a pretty good job of making sure my return is low.
I would rather have the majority of my money in each paycheck.

Just found out he was accepted to UB biomedical engineering school. Only a 38% acceptance rate, now we just need to see what money they will give the boy. A few thousand will do it and he can likely leave with his bachelors and no loans.Good investment for when you’re older. He gets a good paying job so he can take care of you when you can’t

A red cent is too much up front. If you're getting a return, you paid the gubbermint too much money up front.
It kisses me off greatly that I claim 0 at a single rate and so domes my wife and I still pay NYS taxes? I just don’t get it. I get about $4,000 back from feds and I owe $1,000 to NYS. I have two kids, a house with interest, a camper with interest, and my wife pays student loans.Same as many here, usually just about break even between state and federal. I usually get just enough from one to pay the other.
I claim married/0 and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't
