I have spend at least 4,000 dollars in holsters over the past 20 or so years. I have tried a lot of different types but here are my favorites so far.
For appendix and iwb carry, the vedder light tuck kydex have me right now. Clinger made a good holster as well but it's just not adjustable as the vedder is and the vedder allows me to tuck the shirt in over it.
Desantis pancake leather for on the belt carry while in plainclothes or the "classA" uniform ( staying inside) OWB carry.
The best holster if I am wearing sweatpants , shorts and working out has been the 3speed holster. The pistolwear holster were comfortable but would hard to draw from if need arises.
I'm about to try a Brave Response holster for my other guns soon.
I have a smart carry but the trigger could be pulled thru the fabric. If it had a kydex shell I would feel better about it and did use a trigger guard only kydex shell with it.
I have tried ankle holsters, boot holsters, shoulder holsters, chest rigs, fanny packs, and still have them. But I keep going back to the above.
