Like women have their fancy cloths and jewelry for holidays and anniversaries.

What carry pistol or display rifle do you carry/display or would want to purchase for said events?

Never thought of guns as fashionable or an accessory. Although I do have some fancy looking guns, all 1911s, some wear Grimm Reaper Grips, most wear G10 grips, a few have some engraving.

I concealed my firearms in public, so their appearance is irrelevant.

If I was going to go for bling though, I'd go for something special.

Maybe a broom handle mauser with a flash hider and a scope

Wear it in a leather drop leg holster.

My wife did buy an SA 911 because she liked the look. She shows it off at every opportunity.

I have to say, it is a nice looking gun.

But that's just not me.

My FIL has the .357. It’s a nice gun.

This sits above my fire place. Matches the age of the house. I don’t know much about it and never had a negative comment on it.
I always wanted some old matched dueling pistols, never had anything in mind specifically.
I’ve always wanted a fine quality 1911 and an old engraved derringer pistol.

Most things that I get dressed up for, I'm also going to be drinking at, so I'm rarely strapped when I'm dressed to the nines. When I do, it's usually my S&W 642 Airlite.

Now if my gun was going to be part of the attire, it would be my S&W 629 wearing wood stocks in its black, scale-embossed Simply Rugged holster.
