I'm average height. And when sighting in a rifle off a bench rest a few years ago I didn't properly get a good shoulder weld. The next day, I refused to tell people what the bit red circle on my forehead was.

In short, we all do stupid things sometimes.

The scope hit my glasses, and my glasses hit my face.

I wound up with a little slit between my eyes.

I've got big hands, have a scare in the web next to my thumb from a PPK. Slide ripped me up lol. Last time I shot one of those little shits.

I have big hands too. Had a PPK, and sold it for that exact reason. It’s a damn meat slicer disguised as a gun. Now, when I buy a semi auto, I make damn sure it has a nice big ass beaver tail to protect my hand.

I have no scope on my .458 Lott, due to recoil. Elephants are shot at close range anyway.
