What is an easy to rack, light pistol to get?

I have a Ruger SR22, and no matter what ammo I put in it, it fails to fire almost every other round. It’s brand new and had over 1000 rounds fired through it, but boy, it is not reliable. It is easy to rack and it has the best of both worlds of a pull down hammer and slide.
My carry is a M&P shield 2.0, but that sucker is hard to rack.

That sounds like light strikes. Ruger has excellent customer service. I would call them. They are good at making things right on their dime based on reports I’ve read on multiple forums.

Contact RUger they will fix it.

Good advice to send the SR22 back to Ruger. Mine has run flawlessly with all kinds of ammo for 7 years.
For your Shield, you should try one of those pull back rings that attaches to the rear of slide. Makes racking easier and is unobtrusive

Glock. If u want to meet up, your wife can try my wife’s glock or mine. My wife had a really hard time racking her m&p9c.

on the new M&P shield 9mm EZ .. the LGS here got some in like 5 i heard from the FFL Lady friend .. asked the cost and she thinks there are around 600 bucks but welcome to come put your fingers on one and play with it ..
