Appendix naturally seems faster. Glad data shows that out. However, the sitting down conundrum is one that does seem to be a drawback. Be curious to know how people resolve that.
I don't appendix carry at 12 o'clock. I tried it and the muzzle dug into my leg when sitting down. I do it at 2 o'clock. With 2 o'clock and an FBI cant, the muzzle points away from my leg.Appendix naturally seems faster. Glad data shows that out. Lol. Then that means you are talking to much then if you didn't see it.I didn;t watch all of it. The guy talked too much.
Easy to draw while sitting. Easy to protect when someone is behind you. Easy to protect when someone is on front of you. Comfortable at 2 o'clock.
No one is forcing you. No one forced me. I tried it and realized the benefits. I'm not stuck in my ways.
I've never tried it OWB. But I think at 2 o'clock it may be doable if you have a heavy forward cant. One issue that I have with it, is the IWB. I almost never carry inside. I have never liked the feel of it. Nearly every thing I carry is OTW.
Yeah that's what I do. 2 in the summer and 3 in the winter.I carry around 2-3. Have been for years. Works well for me.
Huh? How can you protect at 4 o'clock from the rear? The gun is behind you. I've stood in line behind 4 o'clockers could of easily disarmed them if they didn't react quickly enough and drop their merchandise in their arms on the ground.I disagree completely with the IWB frontal to protect, and access appendix carry. 4:00 is easier to protect from front and back, is easier to access should an attack come at you or lay on top of you. It's easier to conceal deployment. But ultimately, like all things, that doesn't matter. What matters is what works for "YOU", what you're comfy with, what you train with... That's all. Because in a fight or flight situation, when your body is dumping adrenaline and all your fine motor skills disappear, you'll want what's familiar and what works "FOR YOU"...
I do not carry next to my nuts. I tried it once and didn't dig it.

"I don't carry near my junk, but pointed around my femoral artery and branching veins is a okay with me".
This is why I have not tried appendix. Femoral artery gets cut and your all done, I know train train train and all that, but heat of the moment and you just never know. If you fuck up the draw and clip that artery your out of the fight before you even got in it.
