Just saw where this was taken. There are hogs around there. Russian boars did escape captivity and become feral not very far from Cobleskill area.upstate Cobleskill area. I thought it was a wild hog, even though I have never seen one in my area.
Worcester? Nice little town. They are probably some of the descendants of those that escaped. They were not very far from Worcester/Schenevus area and it was several years ago they got loose. Many people were looking for them to keep the damage to a minimum, but they didn't stop them all.My uncle has land in Worchester and the locals tell him hogs are in their area and that people have taken them. We haven't seen any yet.
Yeah, I agree. Looks less like a hog for sure than it does coyote walking and sniffing.Yeah, your seeing bushy tail walking away. And nose at ground angled sniffing. Between front legs.
Yup don't focus on tail as a big cow head LOL. Stand back few feet from puter monitor, view front body angled, head down, rear leg straight, other rear leg raised... Nose between two front legs at ground sniffing...Yeah, I agree. Looks less like a hog for sure than it does coyote walking and sniffing.
Maybe a fox?
