What is this rifle?

Hi guys,
I have a very old rifle which is in my family possession for decades. As far as I know, it was used in both world wars. It is closest to Mannlicher M1895 but there are many differences. On the images below you can see that bolt, round chamber, and wood are not the same. On the rifle, there is not a single mark, number, etc. Nothing.

I am from Belgrade, Serbia. It could be some piece of our wartime domestic production. But I am no expert.

There's 2 crest marks on beginning of receiver and barrel join can't quite make it out

Seems like this design possibly early copy with some of the wood furniture forearm cut down.

I took the liberty of posting your pictures on another forum that specializes in military and historical firearms. It is likely a heavily modified M. 95 carbine or stutzen. The forward receiver was ground down to create the flats, hence why the identifying marks no longer exist. The cocking knob (bolt) is a very early style.
