That’s my friend Jimmy Hosworth. He literally did that to himself with an m80 at a backyard party back when we were still in high school. It was the damnedest thing I ever saw. His fingers flew like darts.

One of our friends was loading M-80's in a sling shot, pulling it back and lighting with a cigarette in his mouth and letting them fly. It was pretty cool til one "misfired" and just kind of flipped straight upwards when he let it go. The nitwit instinctively grabbed it as it fell at him, all but his pinky scattered like birdshot. I found the thumb! It was the only finger in one piece.
