Well, that appears to be a pretty difficult answer. It shows just how capricious and arbitrary the law was and still is.
A State Law applicable everywhere except NY City, Administered by each County, and Issued by a Judge.
The rules vary from County to County and the issuing Judges have various interpretations of the process.
What could possibly go wrong?
Another question Jastrzemski brings up for discussion regards the handling of somebody that doesn't have a concealed permit but already has a pistol permit.
This to me is BS. Although the law spells out Shall Issue for premises permits, my county never had a provision for Premises Permits.
"If you're a pistol permit holder who does not have a concealed permit, do you automatically get the privilege to have a concealed permit?"
Am I screwed up? Does anyone know anyone that has a pistol permit that does not say Permission to Carry?
Jastrzemski asked. "There are people, who might not have applied for a concealed permit. I mean, those are some of my questions. How are we going to handle pistol permit holders that don't have a concealed permit at this time going forward?"
CAN YOU SAY CAPRICIOUS AND ARBITRARY? Listen to this stumbling and fumbling about a law that can put you and I in jail.
Still have to apply - references - background and mental check - pay your fingerprints, and fees and pay for the training class.
And why are we celebrating?
