I own a Glock. I think this new bill is partly hilarious and I sorta secretly welcome it. I also hope they forget to exempt police and the privileged class. Sooner or later some of this shit has to make it to scouts or it will motivate me further leave.

You're probably right. They learned that one
NYS will trade you. They will take your Glock, all the magazines, and any and all accessories you might have. In return, they will issue you a coupon for $100 off the purchase of any Hi-Point handgun. However, you still have to pay the fee to remove the Glock from your permit, another fee to add the Hi-Point, and don't forget about the new mandatory NYS background check that will undoubtedly delay your acquisition for at least 30 days...and there's a fee for that, too !

Is it only glocks that would be banned? The law says any pistol capable of being turned into a full auto would be banned. I guess I’ll have to search the other 3-4 threads to see if I can find the answer
