i take it the buyer is in another state ? ... or same state .. ?? i think you can send to FFL after you get $$ ... then new owner does his thing when receiving it at so FFL .. and then you remove it from your permit .. i hate this state ...
Thanks. I really just want to know if Orange County requires that you notify them first and if any paperwork is required to sell before you give to FFL.
Well, I guess that's not technically true. Can buy but need to notify and get green before it's transferred, right? Been so long since I bought a pistol. FUAC.
not sure on Orange .. in Livingston to buy .. go to clerk , pay 10 bucks i think get a paper good for XXX days .. go anywhere to buy ..
to sell would be on the buyers laws/rules area ..
5 miles from me another county where my friend lives .. go buy the gun .. take proof of purches to cleark .. 50 miles away or more .. get shit done then go back and pick up gun .. fkin BS ..
Since we can't sell direct to a buyer in NY, and we need to go through an FFL, we just bring it to our FFL to ship or do the transfer right there. You have your money beforehand. A copy of the receipt and the amendment to remove from your permit and you should be gtg. I think..... FUAC
I'd love to get into black powder actually. Had a 50 caliber kit given to me when I was 13 by my dad's friend. Coolest thing. Put it together, hung it on the wall and never fired it. I think my brother stole it and sold it for drug money. But that's another story...
awww that sucks .. when i was in the NAVY .. no gun in barraks .. but was allowed to do a kentucky rifle 50 cal kits .. they sold it at the commissary on the base .. LOL ..
