I took an ECQC course from "southnarc" (Craig Douglas - ShivWorks) years back. The Friday night block was "In Extremis Knife". A guy brought a "street sword" with him - the :rolleyes: looks were priceless. He even published a book about using one - https://www.amazon.com/Street-Sword-Practical-Blade-Self-Defense/dp/1581605986 - I'll leave members here to judge what it is worth. He even has a website, which is recommended for comic relief.

Craig, on the other hand, is not to be fucked with.

I ankle carry a bug when I go into the city or am going to be driving a bunch. Somewhat easier and more discreet to draw from when sitting in the truck.

Years ago I knew a fella who carried a .50 DE (all steel Mark VII) and multiple extra mags all in a shoulder rig; both on and off the job as his EDC. On the job he also had an issue piece, so the DE was technically his BUG. As nonsense goes, I thought that was a bit much

Smart. If you're stuck in a car and cannot get out of it, to gain some distance, you'll have to LH draw from a seated position most likely. I assume you keep a jacket half zipped basically?

A couple of years ago I seen a guy open carrying a tiny little 25acp pistol and was around as a peacock.

An old guy I know carry little north American arms 22 magnum with bird shot in a small pouch in his shirt pocket. He carrys that tiny thing every day and is around of it.

Another old guy I know carrys one of them fold up 22lr like derringer.

All novelty items in my oppinion.

A guy wanted me to make a holster for his AR.... pretty silly if you ask me
2nd best was the Desert Eagle 50. Another guy wanted a custom holster for one.
That carries the gun very near horizontal. Can't figure some people out..... but oh well ar.jpg de.jpg
