What's Up with this site on Saturday mornings?

So for the past few weeks every saturday morning there seems to be issues with this site. Sometimes I can't even get on it. Other times when I do there is a huge lag in response times. Sometimes I click on a forum and get an error message "500 Internal Server Error".

Is there some regular maintenance that occurs every saturday that impacts performance? Just curious.

Noticed the same thing, although I'm running Brave w/TOR through Proton VPN, sometimes with random connections through one of their "SecureCore" servers and then to wherever.

That's good fun when Amazon thinks you're somewhere in Egypt or Thailand.

Could be an increase in weekend use because all the schools are out and the obnoxious little fuckers are clogging up the interwebz.

Or, it could be the NSA, CIA, FBI, DIA, or any number of illegal .GOV agencies - who knows?......but, nevertheless......

It has various meanings. In Bklyn when I was growing up it mainly meant "fucked up"

So, no it wasnt fake for about an hour or so, it was fucked up for an hour or so. Its a word like shit or fuck, meaning depends on how you use it.

In the Italian end of the neighbor hood where my bar was they had way more meanings. Even meant "dead" in some instances. "Tony, what happened to Vito? Tony would just shrug and say "fugazy" and you'd know, Vito got whacked. We used it sometimes for fake, but mostly it meant fucked up. "Joe, the cops took all our beer" "Damn, thats fugazy".

Trust me, these were not "wannabes". There were a lot of wannabes in the neigborhood, there always is when the real guys are nearby.I never heard the word fubar in that neighborhood. Fubar is not an Italian term. Its actually initials for "fucked up beyond all repair". The "Italian social club" across the street from my bar ran all the gambling in north Bklyn. They kept a pay phone in our bar only for them. Paulie would usually be in the bar at all times to take the action that came in over that phone.One sunday morning he was across the street when I was opening up. Nobody was outside the club when the phone rang. I went inside and asked the old guys wheres Paulie? They pointed me to a door in the back, I walked in and thought I walked into a gangster movie. Long table with stacks of cash and piles of slips, a big chalkboard. Everybody in the room started sweeping the table clear and erasing the board, Paulie ran to the door and ran me out, the old guys that pointed me to the door were laughing their asses off, Paulie yelling at them. In the 10 yrs I owned and worked at that bar we only had one problem. A local thug, we'll just call him "skootchie" got in a fight and got his ass kicked, came back with a crew and started trying to smash the windows, all plexi glass, turned into a big to do. Skootchie ended up getting collared. Sunday morning his brother and a couple of his friends pulled up in front as I was opening up .I went out to confront them and Paul yells from across the street for me to go back inside, he goes to the car and leans in the window says something and they peeled out fast. He tells me that "Carlo" aint gonna be happy about what happened last night, and they are all sick of this guys bs.By thurs of that week, word was out that skootchie and his brother got "disappeared". These guys were no wannabes.

Much less running slow. I couldn't even connect to NYGF for an hour or two this afternoon. 5/13
This was the only website that I had problems connecting with at the time.

I am now convinced Saturday is Collection Day.

It is the day the monitors collect all the naughty things you guys have said throughout the week.
