What's your favorite place for sporting clays

This is mine, where I am a member. It's a super challenging course and has a phenomenal restaurant. I've never had a bad meal and they have some of the best pannini, i've ever had. This coming from an Italian, that has been to Italy, many times. Be sure to provide a link and a pic of your gun of choice.

Orvis introduced one of the first sporting clays courses in the country at its Manchester, Vermont, Shooting School. Orvis Sandanona upholds this tradition with two courses, running simultaneously on the property.

It’s the only one I’ve ever shot clays at
2 sporting clay courses. 1 for fun 1 is tournament level
5 stand course where you’re inside shooting out windows
6 trap houses
12 skeet fields
50,100,200 yard rifle range
8 outdoor pistol bays

I have only ever shot at Vernon National (?), and it was fantastic.
But I have nothing else to compare to, so maybe I am wrong.

Couple of years ago I shot clays with a friend at Camillus Sportsmans Club. My 1st and only time shooting clays. I shot my oldie but goody... Ansley H Fox Sterlingworth 12 ga. I broke up a few but far from impressive. But a couple of members with fancy looking OU guns were a bit impressed, certainly not with me, with my very good condition Sterlingworth LOL.

They are more pistol rifle crew here. I used to shoot 5 stand league in the winter and the fun sporting clay course every weekend I could until a flat of shells went up to $100. To much for my paycheck. I even have 1200 prepaid birds

Mostly trap. That is mainly what is available around here.
Tried skeet, but need a lot more practice.

My gun of choice for trap is a Remington 870TC I found for $400 at a gun show many many years ago.

I have only ever shot at Vernon National (?), and it was fantastic.
But I have nothing else to compare to, so maybe I am wrong.

They're only 15 miles away but I've never shot there, or sporting Clay's anywhere for that matter. I should make a trip up there and try their trap deck to get started. I have bought a few shotguns and a pistol from them. Nice people, great shooting facilities!

Where in Sicily? I've been many times to visit family in Palermo.

Brooks is great, I shoot there just about every Saturday and Sunday. Clays are well setup and plenty of scheduled shoots. Pistol and rifle ranges are much more enjoyable than GCL and you can actually practice drawing without having a “red card” or whatever it was.
