When old meets new? Mlok handguards on a lever

So just saw this. Looks like something more for deep wood Alaska type shit or whatevs.

I dont hate it, lever guns have their place, trapper guns may not have the capacity of an AR15 or AR10, or follow up shots as fast..

You can get .44mag with a 16" barrel or even a 500s&w mag at about the same weight as an AR15...


Anyways back on track 6 extra rounds of .44 magnum on hand easy to get to. I think I personally would have the rounds facing the other direction but that's just me

Honestly the one part I dont like about the mossberg one is the use of the AR stocks. But I also do like the Mlok handguards

I agree the AR stock is a square peg in a round hole when it comes to the lever action. The forestock is fine though...I don't even mind the flash hider. I think it would be better with just a polymer, traditional butt stock. Question is tho..What would the Mlok handguard look like on this Mossberg? Would it make the AR stock look any better?

Sadly I can't find any pics of that combo, but the more I see that stock set up the more I don't like it lol. The rest of the mossberg seems pretty nice though

I don't think the pics exist, lol. Yeah, the only way to describe that stock set up and the whole gun really, is "abrasive". It's not easy on the eyes for sure.
