My guess being it came from the msm to say look at all these places people could have guns and be scared.
However they always fail to mention that the legal gun owners for the most part are not the problem.

I have a different take on this. If they can't limit what you can carry, they will push to limit what you can own. I don't see these type of in your face activists helping, especially to us here in NY.

Boy. Texas really does ban carry almost everywhere. I've said it before. It's not really a pro gun state like it claims.

I'm not defending the NRA. You know I hate them. In fact, you made me check on them in the other site after hearing you post about them years ago.
With that said, the in your face attitude has really backfired on Texas. Signs hold the force of law there. Since open carry was made legal, the in your face open carriers made it to where it's almost impossible to go anywhere anymore because business owners that previously didn't give it thought, now put up signs after people started open carrying rifles into their stores.
Sticking a gun in a liberals face isn't going to do you no good unless you pull the trigger. That's the truth. There is no changing their minds. It only empowers them to go further.
Cowering to their fears is exactly why we are in this position, and why articles like this can even exist to try and "shock" people.
