I disagree with your assessment of places of worship. You don’t have to be security guard simply be tasked with the protection and security of the place of worship. It might be splitting hoses but the law doesn’t say security guard and if that’s what it meant IMO that’s what they would have said. There are plenty of voluntary church security teams that are unpaid.

I sincerely hope you're right and I'm wrong but it seems they own the courts, the judges, law enforcement and the laws. And even if we "win" they seem to just do as they please regardless.

It will not be decided next week, March 20th. The courts will be adding another line to the chart to do more decision making sometime in the next few months.
Currently the CCIA is being viewed as "it is working" and it is not impacting a majority of peoples lives or business. So getting it hiked out of existence now that it's been in place for a little over half a year, it is harder and harder to recant it as each day goes by.

Maybe. I have little faith the conservative majority will hold long on the Supreme Court. Me thinks the demonrats have something up their sleeve and have plans to remove Altilo and Thomas at some point. Also don’t expect the democrats when they have the majority again to allow us to hang onto our gun rights. They will do exactly what the conservatives did with abortion rights, oops we got it wrong back then.

Problem is, becoming a felon in NYS, affects your constitutional rights in another state.
I've said it on here, you aren't a felon, you live in the heartland of Texas. All you do is go to a gun shop, fill out a 4473 NICS background check form, pass go, and get your pistol. Out the door you go.
Now, you take that same pistol, that you legally purchased in another state (notice I say "legally" purchased), you take that same pistol to NYS, you get caught, you are now a felon. Which then prohibits you from going back down to the heartland of Texas to buy another, because you will get kicked on with the 4473.
How this hasn't been caught up in higher courts yet, is beyond me. Especially there are more than one state.
However, back on track here.... sorry for disrupting the flow.

You know how far I trust a tyrannical politician when they say "we won't enforce this upon people north of Westchester"?

It doesn’t matter since NYC a isn’t a sensitive place. I can’t carry in NYC because my permit is no good there but if it was issued in NYC then I’d be GTG. I don’t think I’ll ever step foot in NYC until i can carry my pistol there.What if your church is in NYC?
