Over the last few years I've been selling off some stuff, and acquiring only the things I really want. A sig p229 has been on that list, and more than likely it's going to be a legion unless any of you can talk me out of it for some reason.
I don't target shoot, just like to plink here and there. (Actually I rarely shoot at all) Probably will carry it here and there. I'm not a huge fan of a da/sa trigger, although it is nice for carry reasons I suppose. So I've been leaning towards the single action only legion.
Sig Sauer M11-A1 Compact Firearms. Designed to meet, and exceed, rigorous military standards, the M11-A1 Compact performs like no other 9mm available. This pistol features the black hard-coat finish on its alloy frame and SIG's Nitron finish over a stainless slide. Internal parts and contr.
My cousin is my FFL. I bought the above. A FFL bought a 229 Legion but dumped the 10 rounders and my cousin threw all 3 my way for a nice discount. The M11-A1 is a nice shooter, Sig still does a nice job.
Years ago I had the old 229 edition that took the old 13 rounders of the era. Sig was smart to upgrade the grip length to take 15 rounders. Although that don't mean squat in NYkistan.
