Which Size FNS Should I Buy?

I'm planning on getting an FNS as the next pistol, but I'm not sure which size to pick yet.
It's available in the standard 4" bbl "duty" size, the 3.6" bbl compact size, and the 5" bbl longslide size.

I'm not looking for it to fit any specific role right now, just for fun, but obviously each size has it advantages. I've handled the standard size and the compact and found that both feel almost perfect (using the finger ext. on the compact).

For reference, right now I have two pistols: a Beretta 92A1 and a Baikal Makarov copy

I have Hunting&Target restriction in Erie, so I don't carry currently, but I've thought about doing it anyways if I own a pistol I'd want to carry (not the Mak). Hopefully I can get my restrictions lifted within a year.

Longslide, since it'll mostly see rangetime?
Standard, best compromise of size and shootability?
Compact, most versatile with the ability to carry?
Which Size FNS Should I Plan on Buying?

Get the compact. You already have the Beretts 92A1 as a great range gun. You’ll get your concealed carry permit and have the compact as your EDC

I agree. I truly considered the FNSC as my carry gun, but went another route. They were brand new on the market and not many accessories. I liked everything about it, but wanted better night sights and a different mag release. I went with the Springfield xd mod 2.0 and love it. I really liked the FNSC though too. Go for it and review it for us

I'd get the compact. I've shot the full size and liked it well enough.

Thanks guys. It seems it's hard to beat the compact for versatility, especially considering I almost get the exact same grip as on the standard size when using the pinky extension.
