Just ordered an SCR lower with Monte Carlo stock. Anyone else have an SCR? How do you like it? Stock upper or did you build/buy a different upper? Sights???
I plan on going out tomorrow since I have the day off and see what's around (and it is going to rain) Lower or full rifle?
Have a few of them, all have the Monte Carlo stock and my own uppers. 5 shot group at 100 yards from my bull barreled upper on a bipod.

Heavy barreled uppers with 3-9x40 Nikon Prostaffs on them. The trigger is ok, no worse than a milspec AR but definately not a Timney.
I ordered just the complete lower from Buds. It was 550 shipped.
I just ordered parts to build my own upper.
Wilson Arms 16" Stainless 416R Fluted Black Nitride bull barrel
Black Nitride low pro gas block .936
Black Nitride carbine gas tube
Aero Precision complete upper with no forward assist
Midwest Industries SSM10G3 10" Free float M-LOK Handguard
Yes, seen lowers for $650/695 local! May do that but tomorrow it's going to rain, good day to hit the LGS's on my day off!!
Barrel shrouds not allowed!

Yep, lmaoSo you have been sand-bagging us!! LOL!!!!!!!
Nope you cannot replace them yet, nothing on the aftermarket. Can you replace triggers with something like a Timney or are they proprietary on an sCR?

Liberal term for rail...Whats a barrel shroud and whats a handguard???
Liberal term for rail...
Regardless, it is totally legal to put a shroud on a rifle. It is only a banned feature for a pistol.all you are doing is causing confusion! Why do you call this a shroud and not a hand guard? I have seen them in the stores like this.

Sell the upper for 350 and build something that will shoot well. Don't forget to keep the Bolt carrier though.Well @Wildman1024 I love it when a plan comes together! Second shop I hit (Upstairs, I hate those stairs!!) I scored a used but never fired Sporter model, would have preferred the Monte Carlo. But the price was right $599.00 with papers and hard case!

That skinny ass barrel ain't no good for shootin.....lmao might be good for 3 shots before the groups open up over an inch at 50 yards. That is an option!! I had to edit to post a pic!

They are light, can use any upper , just swap bolt into their carrier, good to go.. I put piston kit on mine with Daniel defense furniture, need to dremel a bit,but looks and runs great!Just ordered an SCR lower with Monte Carlo stock. Anyone else have an SCR? How do you like it?
