Who ships to NY?

Anybody know any companies that will ship complete lowers behind the curtain?

I'm currently looking for budget lowers and wondering if Aero Precision or Anderson ships complete lowers to NY FFL's.

I've had my eye on something like this:
AR15 Rifle Complete Lower Receiver w/ A2 Grip, No Stock - Anodized Black

Or:

Lower Receiver with LPK Installed with Ambi Safety Selector - Anderson Manufacturing

At the moment, I have no time or interest in ordering LPK's and the rest to assemble myself.
At most I'd like to add a buffer, tube and spring to one of Anderson's and be done with it so I can get some shooting in when I have any free time.

Hoping I can find a new FFL in the Monroe/Livingston county area that will accept it for me. My FFL was a great guy and passed away recently so I'm starting from scratch on that.

They certainly have a ton of stripped lowers to choose from. Not many options in the assembled

Where is the fun in a complete receiver? Buy the parts and do it yourself. Way more fun and rewarding. You can build a lower in 20 minutes.

That's 20 minutes I don't have for shooting.

It's cheaper to buy an assembled lower from PSA than a build kit ( stripped lower +LPK , buffer tube, stock) but they wont ship to NY. I looked st some other vendors and it was the same. Stripped lowers...no problem. Assembled ones
..nope.

Why? A lower is not semi auto.

Too bad.....i sold many mnay complete lowers.

The new owner is not up and running yet.

Obviously you knuckle draggers can not read. He clearly stated that the 20 min. Build time would take away from his shooting time........

My question is if it takes an extra 2-3 weeks to find and receieve a complete lower, how much shooting time will that have taken up?

Why not go to a local shop and buy a complete lower. I know a couple of local guys that will put together whatever you like.

I'm starting to look around at some of the local places around me. I'll support a local guy if he's got something that works for me.

If I can do it....

do it, i have literally zero experience building and just went for it and had no problems at all. all i needed was a small hammer, spliers, a clamp, punch, table to work on and youtube lol

How are the triggers in PSA's kits?
A couple years ago, I handled a lower assembled with a Del-Ton LPK and the trigger was the best I've fingered in an AR platform.
I'm not planning to upgrade to a CMC or Timney any time soon.

I've heard they are not great, but they definitely do work fine. But that aero is using base level components also. Perfectly usable, but I think you'd need a new drop in trigger if you want a really nice lower.

Dammit - you might have talked me into it. Looking at the Rise Armament trigger now.
The goal is to use one of the new lowers with a Grendel upper.

Dammit - you might have talked me into it. Looking at the Rise Armament trigger now.
The goal is to use one of the new lowers with a Grendel upper.

I installed a Rise Armament this fall. They are a really good trigger for the price. I think I paid about $80 when they were having a sale.

I have a Rise Armament (3.5#) and a Velocity (3#). I prefer the Velocity over the Rise. To me just seems smoother. I have a Larue MBT-2S on order. They are supposed to be a very good trigger and at $87 figured I'd give it a try. All are on Grendels.

As long as you don't send any detents into outer space. Nothing quite like crawling around the ground with a headlamp looking for those things

PSA triggers are milspec so that's what you'll get. Functional, reliable but gritty. I have installed several Rise Armament triggers and a James Madison Tactical Sabre trigger. Happy with their performance and prices are reasonable.
