The thing is, they have slim majorities right now. When these dems have a little breathing room, the first one that does will help pass more restrictions.
Then, even if the ones that come after have slim majorities cause they pissed people off, they'll just say "well, you know, it was that other guy who passed it who came before me. It wasn't me." Then, they'll just never do anything to overturn it.
We have to start looking at politicians who don't actively try to overturn the SAFE Act as being silently complicit. They are the ones furthering the unconstitutional laws like the SAFE Act, just as much as the LEO that enforces and groups that lobby to have it made in the first place. They're all to blame.
