why can't i post in a forum thread .. all the others work ??

nothing happens when i click post thread .. even just typing hello and clicking post thread button .. nothing happens ..

only happens in this thread .. been trying since the thread was posted ..

if i click on the attach files button that works .. but nothing else does . .. weird ..

So, I was fairly concerned this could indicate some kind of corruption that could mess up more things so I went to @NYGuns with it (he's really the tech guy that knows what he's talking about here).

He discovered (and quickly) that it has something to do with running ad blocker type plugins. Exactly WHY it's causing it in that thread..and since we don't have ads ..we're not quite sure, but it does work if you whitelist the site on those things. (In my case it was Ghostery specifically)
He says it's probably time we update some stuff ..might have something to do with that.

Ha , did you not see the message he had up while he was updating our software a little while ago ?

Site was down for a bit while he did it and he had a message up saying something like, "Updating software because HEX broke that shit ! j/k no he didn't" ..lol

Anyway , to view that thread at all now you just have to have ad blockers off. There's something posted there that is confusing to ad-blockers. We don't know exactly what, that's just the way it is. With the new update, you can't even veiw the page now if whatever it is gets blocked.

The update is cool though. Some nice new options in the text formatting. If nothing else, this got us to update and that's good.

But seriously, thanks for keeping this place up and running - even you @NYGuns ! I don't know what I'd do with myself while I'm supposed to be working if I didn't hide and look at my phone 10,000 times a day.
