450 bushmaster for what purpose?
Do you already have bullets to perhaps share with other calibers if you reload?
If so, what about the socom although it has been a bitch to find brass.
But what about a mighty 358 winchester? That is a cartrige with big cojones and so easy to make a caveman can do it.
I was thinking about that. Never did that on a bolt action before, I assume it’s just cut the old one off and thread for a new one@ That_FNG I definitely recommend upgrading the bolt handle.
NO!!!! No cutting or threading of anything. The bolt handle is a separate piece. You remove the bolt shroud, twist the firing pin mechanism out and the bolt handle slides out.I was thinking about that. If you want people to notice you at the range, why buy a puny 450, when you can get a 50 Bmg, a mans rifle and cartridge that'll clear the benches on either side of you and make everyone there go Holy F@#K Batman ?The point is for lots of sound and flash. A Big Bang and hefty recoil. Something that when I light it off it makes other people at the range go “sweet Jesus what was that” A thumper if you will. But also something I can us to hunt with (deer and hogs)
All the indoor ranges by me only allow up to 300 win mag. So no 50bmg or 338 lapua. I thought about doing a 300 win mag with a 16 barrel and a big brake, but it was more cost effective to just order the ruger American in the 450If you want people to notice you at the range, why buy a puny 450, when you can get a 50 Bmg, a mans rifle and cartridge that'll clear the benches on either side of you and make everyone there go Holy F@#K Batman ?
I think the 450 I gave my niece for her 12th birthday present is collecting dust in her closet, I'll see if she wants to sell it.
How does it feel?
It kicked less than the marlin 1895 in 45-70 and way less than Remington 870 12 gauge with 2 3/4 slugsHow does it feel?
So you like it?It kicked less than the marlin 1895 in 45-70 and way less than Remington 870 12 gauge with 2 3/4 slugs

I bought the 450 Ruger Ranch and a Niko sterling cheapo scope , both were on sale at Herbs .. I was turning in real good groups for a while then they started walking on me.. I'll try some lock tight in the spring time and see if that cures the problem.. but for having under $ 500 in the whole package it's a fun little cannon to shoot.. I plan on hanging it under the roof of my side by side..
action screws ??Check torq of the action screws?
I'll check it out tomorrow,, I just assumed it was gonna be the rings..The screws that attach the rifle action to the stock, they can come lose or be to tight.
Cause gunz are icky?like the title says, why shouldn’t I get a 450 bushmaster rifle?
