As (we) are taking down the statues and memorials of Confederates, why not dig up their graves too.
Why not burn any book about the Civil War.

Could care less about the confederates. They were obviously an attempt by England and possibly France to destroy the USA, so then England could launch an invasion from canuckistan and france could coup mexico (the "Emperor Maximillian" affair) without US interference. Remember when some news outlet FALSELY reported that Trump removed the MLK bust from the oval office?
The left was appauled at the very mention of touching a statue of an historic figure.
There ARE peopke in this country that believe MLK was a racist and some that are deeply offened by having roads in EVERY city in the nation named after MLK, and libraries, and museums, and state buildings......etc.
Not to mention the many other civil rights figures that blatantly showed their hatred for whites and American history, but still have their statues, busts and buildings named after them.
I am not one of those people, I dont give a shit about statues, roads, or racism, but there are many that do feel that way.

Folks in civilized countries all over the world keep their monuments to educate the people.
History is there to teach so hopefully we will learn something from it.

Here we see a survivor at the gate of Auschwitz attending a memorial.
Why would anyone make a monument to remind us of such brutal atrocities?
The reason is very simple, it teaches people what happened there. We gain nothing from hiding it or denying it.

What they are doing in the south is not very different than the Taliban who blow up any ancient monuments they do not like.
It is very sad what is happening to our cultural patrimony.

Perhaps we should remove all monuments, all flags and burn all the history books. That might include
all the US flags and absolutely all signs of eastern civilization if we don't want to offend anyone.
