Don't know if the 90 would be fast enough. The 65 grain is going 1700 fps.

Im not as concerned about body armor for everyday self defense.
Ive seen alot of videos of the 90 grain going through layers of denim, car windshields, car doors, plywood.....etc.
I believe the 90 grain averages around 1400fps and 400lbs out of a 4 inch barrel.
The design of the bullet also helps it penetrate.
I also have soom of the Extreme Penetrator.
That stuff will blow through 2 people with a consistent wound channel and not deform.
A bit too much for most SD scenarios.

I use the 115 gr Xtreme Penetrator +P at 1250 fps. For me, I'm not really concerned with overpenetration. I believe it to be a myth. It was never a problem in the past and isn't a problem today when rifles or shotguns are used in defensive shootings.

I'm just torn if I should go with more speed.
