Will gun ranges have to post "guns allowed" signs?

Here's a copy of the sign I posted on our club's doors when we first got wind of this BS law....



WELCOME TO THE EVANS ROD & GUN CLUB. IN KEEPING WITH PROVING WE ARE A CLUB OF PATRIOTIC LAW ABIDING CITIZENS SUPPORTIVE OF OUR UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION, WE’VE POSTED THIS SIGN TO MAKE IT CLEAR ON WHERE WE STAND WITH REGARD TO THE NEWLY IMPOSED UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAWS FROM OUR DICTATORIAL LEADER KATHY WHORECUL…..TO COMPLY WITH HER RECENTLY PASSED LEGISLATION. THE POSSESION OF FIREARMS AT OUR CLUB IS NOT ONLY ACCEPTABLE, IT IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. YOU WILL NOT BE HARASSED, PROFILED, JUDGED, OR SHUNNED. THE LAST TIME WE CHECKED, THIS CLUB STILL RESTS ON AMERICAN SOIL, WHICH WAS SUPPORTED AND DEFENDED BY OUR VETERANS, MANY OF WHOM SACRIFICED LIFE AND LIMB TO DEFEND OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. I don't even think Heil Hochul even knows what a gun club is or does. Other that it has the word "gun" in it... lol

Technically, the DEC has you covered because you are practicing marksmanship for hunting.

In reality, we have entered a state of being in which the philosophy of Reductio ad absurdum reigns supreme.

Reducto ad absurdum is the form of argument that attempts to establish a claim by showing that the opposite scenario would lead to absurdity or contradiction.

On other words; I am really going to open the trunk of my sedan in the parking lot (or at a nearby neutral area), unholster my sidearm, place my handgun in a safe in the trunk, and close the trunk, all within view of dozens of shoppers. All to avoid creating a stir within the store, where my sidearm would be carried under several layers of shirts, completely out of view for the entire visit (and as I have been doing for decades without incident.)

I am not going to take this to absurd levels. No one in their right mind would want us to. Problem is, the government in Albany is not in their right mind. They have proven it over and over during the past months.

The law is written either my madmen or to purposely be impossible to comply with. Or both.

If I had to enter a store while doing a handstand, for instance, I would just walk in as normal. If I am stopped, my defense is that it is just physically impossible for me to do handstands. I have no other choice.

That *would* make an excellent form of protest for this though.

Get a bunch of people and go through that theatric frequently at local places.

How long before they put up the sign just so they don't have people handling guns openly in their parking lot ?
