good, although they ruled in favor of a criminal in this specific case, but to the benefit of all.

When will these clowns in black robes rule in favor of law abiding citizens for the benefit of all on a Pro 2a case?

There should be a simple test for a warrant requirement.

If it is illegal for a private citizen to do, then absent very limited exigent circumstances it requires a warrant, period.

Trespassing, or breaking and entering, warrant.
Wire tapping, warrant.
Seizing anything (like a cell phone) against the owners will, warrant.
Compelling a company to release it's customer's data, warrant.

See, it would be clear and easy.

As for exigent circumstances, is there another way to keep track of the evidence (like posting an officer to watch it) while you get a warrant ? Then not exigent enough.

not til 2019 or 2020, by then, with any luck, we will have two more conservative justices on the court. Unless the left wins a bunch of seats in the mid-term
