A gun I never shot. Nor do I have a use for with the other lever guns I have. This is a 1966 manufacturer date according to the serial number lookup. No cross bolt safety. I don't know a bunch about it except a friend who is knowledgeable about them said the factory sling mounts were unusual. They didn't come stock with them so probably a custom order. Can spend $45.00 and get the build steet from the Cody Museum if interested.Got it from a friend who has a rather large collection. It's in really nice condition for the age. Clean bore . No pitting. Minor handling marks and little wear on wood finish.
