Now i am a avid gun lover, built all my AR's and own half a dozen other rifles. I am also into Airguns, now i am not talking about the ones they sell at the local Walmart, i am talking about High-Power PCP airguns.

Airguns have come a LONG way and are getting better each year, with powerful calibers ranging from .177 up to 72 Cal! You can even find Semi-Auto and FULL AUTO now. ALL 100% LEGAL AND UNREGULATED!

Another pro is you can suppress Airguns without a stamp or anything just order a can and install legal everywhere even in this shithole state.

I have two Airforce Talons one 22 cal and a 25 cal. The 22 cal can be co2 or HPA powered and the 25 cal HPA. I like these rifles because of the simplicity and the accuracy.....

Europeans have enjoyed these for years. There were a few magazines ( paper kind) that were dedicated to this topic.

They are powerful and accurate and deadly.
My buddy has a Benjamin Marauder ( $600 ish)
The downfall is getting air fills. He charges off of a SCUBA tank and then has to deal with finding a scuba shop to fill it without a dive card, yearly inspections on the tanks, 5yr hydro testing of the tank.......
You could get a bicycle style pump and , from what I hear, develop some impressive biceps/ triceps. Another option is a tabletop 4500 psi compressor called the " Shoebox" . Takes a couple of hours to fill a smaller tank or overnight for a 68 cubic inch one like those used in paintball.

The Shoebox , by Air Gun Designs , a US paintball gun maker, is no longer being made and the market is flooded with cheap chinese knock offs.

In the mid-1980's I bought a FWB 124D "magnum" air rifle, .177 cal. Chronographed over 900fps with Beeman Silver Jets. Had Beeman's best (Japanese manufacture) scope with quality mounts. You could easily bust aspirin tablets with it @ 10M every shot if you did your part. Those Germans know how to build a trigger too.

Finally sold it the the late 90's. Should have kept it. Still regret that.

Edit: Beeman's "Blue Ribbon" scope, FINALLY remembered! 2-7×32 maybe?

The tanks are fine.
We've been using them in paintball for years. I have some 4500 psi tanks that are 15 years old and no longer usable due to DOT regulations .
I have/ had some 3000 psi ones that are older. I think one was made in 1999.
The lifespan of fiber wrapped tanks is 15 yrs with a hydro test required every 3 or 5 yrs depending on the manufacturer per DOT.

And paintball players run and dive with them . Not me though. I'm way to old for that silliness. :) .
