In WNY, Buffalo, Niagra Falls area. I guess freeish.
As another post by me mentioned I’m installing a flagstone patio in my rear yard that will be about 300 square feet and robin mentioned people having trouble growing grass. I was toying with taking the sod out and posting an ad on Facebook or Craigslist but I’m sure no one will show up and I’d have to slowly put it in my trash cans. I just do t want to deal with that.
So here’s the deal if anyone is interested. A sod cutter is about $100 to rent for 4 hours if some one makes me while on the rental they can have all the sod minus one piece. I need one for an area possibly. We can arrange a day so it’s fresh cut and not sitting around. This needs to happen within the next two weeks. this grass is very nice, green, lush, growing great, and 99.5% weed free. You may get a few pieces of clover in there.
I cut but you move it. You will need a truck of a trailer. Sod at homedepot is $9/8 square foot piece right now. I’ll have enough to move with 4 yards of stone, 1 yard of leveling sand, and 6-8,000 lbs of stone. I don’t care how payment is made really. Cash is great but I’d take some ammo, knife, other gun related stuff.
If no one takes this I’ll cut the grass close, cover it with hard scaling fabric, and the patio goes right on top but it’s a shame to so that.
Here’s a few photos to prove my worth in grass maitenance. You can see there are a few clover and the small hole that is starting to grow in. I’d say you’ll lose the grass in the patch and there are maybe 5 more patches like that.
