Wrong Turn Leads to Man Arrested for Having Gun and Drugs in Car on Peace Bridge

Funny but when I think of the term "Peace" from the 60's, I think of marijuana. They go together. Not so much on the Peace Bridge lol.

Actually, they just changed up all of the road entrances and exits to the Peace Bridge over the last year. It is easy to get it wrong and get routed onto the bridge,- especially if you're high...

Reading this, I thought this was old news recycled. I was wrong!

This same thing happened a couple of weeks back when three people got routed onto the bridge by mistake (no doubt due to the new road setups). They made a U turn on the bridge, but, too late. They got arrested at US Customs, and as I recall, they had 3 illegal handguns in the car...

I haven't driven through it recently, but as I understand it, they closed the exit road through the park. So now, if you take the exit to the Peace Bridge off the I-190N to get to Porter Ave. (like you could until recently), you will get routed directly onto the bridge and into Canada instead.

It is fucked up! Apparently no way to turn back anymore. Beware!
