I'm not so sure this will happen. One of the major reasons i voted for Trump was the way the media treated him. I didn't think it was possible that the mainstream media could hound him worse than they did Sarah Palin. But they took it to lows that pissed me off to the point that everything they said (even FOX news) i didn't believe and suspected the complete opposite. Sort of a counter reaction. Now the media has to wonder if all this bias towards Trump backfired on them and if it did do they continue or back off. Long before election day i wondered if a Trump presidency would just be a repeat of Bush's 8 years when every damn nite on the news it was 30 minutes of how bad Bush is and how incompetent he is for ONLY creating 700,000 jobs a month. In the end the media will probably treat Trump a little worse than Bush, but it may bite them in the ass.

I hope youre right. I expect they will be on him like a bum on a ham sandwich so they can "justify" their absurd/bias behavior. That way they can say "i told you so" and try to redeem themselves.

I was talking with my college son on Friday. He said he can't believe all of the complaining from those his age he is seeing in the media. He said that when Obama won, he wasn't happy but he got on with his life. He is seeing the stark difference between normalcy vs. insanity.

And this is Yale... not some podunk community college in the middle of nowhere. Ivy league schools are the ones producing so many of our leaders (like it or not)- this doesn't bode well for our future.

@Gunright wasn't intended to disparage community colleges, just to point out that (for better or worse) many of the movers and shakers of the world- business leaders, senators, presidents (foreign and domestic) come from ivy league colleges. That fact, combined with the coddling, isn't boding well for our future. What kinds of leaders are these people going to be? Things get tough and instead of handling it they start whining in a corner about inequality and demanding a puppy and play-doh.
I'm not poo-pooing Community colleges- they are great places to get a solid, affordable education. That's not disputed. What i was saying is that if a small college in the middle of no where that no one had ever heard of (community, or otherwise) was canceling classes and offering therapy dogs to students because of an election it wouldn't be as scary to me because their graduates, for the most part, aren't being groomed for world domination.
