I was in Lowes the other day...first time in a LONG time....all the signs and banners were in English with Spanish below. WTF....how do they sign a credit card ? How do they count money ? Are we doing them a favor or actually hurting by not making them think they should learn English ?? Other Countries also doing this ? Went through Chicago a few weeks ago and every AM station was broadcasting in a middle East dialect.

WHAT happened to English ? What happened to the "melting pot" ?? Most Immigrants don't want to be Americans as I see it. AND, the agencies making big money importing poverty stricken,illiterate immigrants don't give a crap except for the dollar

It almost is like that! Call certain customer service numbers or cell companies and the first thing you hear is another language telling them to push Un or Dose then comes the English part

Yeah all these companies are enabling. Without these practices it would make it much harder to live here without speaking english. And it's all because of the money. Like everything else anymore. Depressing/disgusting.

That's only because it's cheaper to manufacture one set of buttons rather than multiples.

I think it is ridiculous that we have to have everything in Spanish. I often say, go to Mexico or anywhere where english is not the first language and see how many signs there are in english. Next to none. Oh, but not here in the US! Soon major cities will have areas where not one single sign will be in english.
