What’s the deal with these mags? Anything I can do to get them to loosen up some? The last couple rounds are unnecessarily next to impossible to load and the ones before aren’t a dream either. Thanks guys.

When the XDs came out I was lucky enough to get to test them. My one major complaint was loading the mags. I started leaving one out. It was darn near impossible to fully load.
The quick fix is to get a magazine loader (at least until the springs break in a bit). I bought the "UpLULA Universal Pistol Mag Loader" from Amazon for $28. After a short learning curve you can load FAST, REALLY fast!....and NO PAIN for your thumb! Single stacks are a bit more tricky with the one I purchased, but they now have one for singles specifically.
If you buy one, practice a bit, you will ask yourself why the heck you waited so long to get one... And your thumb will thank you.
