Latest project (for another member!). Updated and renovated bathroom -- almost finished beautiful quartz vanity top with under-mount sink will be installed after its fabricated.

Before typical 1990s fiberglass tub, vinyl floor, painted vanity with laminate top and white paint throughout:

Updated with acrylic tub, new fixtures, subway tiles with some nice mosaic glass/metallic accents, porcelain tile, updated vanity, and bead-board wainscoting...

Will update after the top is installed...

The before pictures look like my current bathroom, except back shower wall has a frosted glass window that faces the outside of the house (not my decision, but the fucking HOA won't let us take them out for some reason). Otherwise, size wise it's pretty much the same thing.

What was the ballpark the renovation came to, if you don't mind me asking?

I can vouch for Cgrutt. He did my bathroom above. Even plumbing work. He's a trustworthy dude. Saved me a lot of money when unforeseen mold issues came up and he tackled them with no problems and no extra cost in labor except for added materials that weren't included. I trusted him to work while we weren't home. The guy even cleaned up poop and pee from my dog when he didn't have to and dealt with last minute cosmetic changes with no issues.

The only issue is that he's OCD and if a tiny spec that I wouldn't notice came out wrong, he let me know and took extra time to fix it to get it right. That's a good issue though.

Ha ha Thanks! Cleaning up the poop and pee wasn't a problem but Gizmo peeing on my foot every time he greeted me started to get tiresome.

As long as you don't pee on Gizmo or feed him after midnight you should be ok.

I'll second CG's OCD. He's a freakish perfectionist.

Rare, yes rare, to see such craftsmanship and attention to detail theses days. I don't know why you gave up on the CPA business, but you certainly are accountable to the highest standards in this field. I wish I needed to have something done, I give free room, board, beer, and range time for the duration. All the best to you cgrutt!
