Somehow we keep forgetting to throw it out.

I wouldnt eat those frozen crap burgers even if they were fresh out of the meat packing plant.Invite Stokes
Did this come from your old one that you killed?
I just read an article that states that food kept in a deep freeze may be good INDEFINITELY.
When you wish to use it, look at it, then smell it.
If it looks fine, smells fine, it quite likely is fine.
At least that is what "they" say on the Internet. Which is all-wise.

What happens to meat when you freeze it for 35,000 years?
Hundreds of woolly mammoths were trapped in the ice a thousand years ago. There are dozens of stories about the taste and texture of their meat (and not all of them are true)www.revyuh.com
The quality drops eventually though. You can *safely* eat it thousands of years later. But you're not going to like it.
