Freezer burn is basically the same thing as freeze drying. It's not spoiled in the "unsafe" sense. Just that it has lost some quality.

It'll be fine especially frozen like that. Food experation are guidelines and within a year or even 2 for frozen won't kill you. Of course if the package is bloated, burst or something that's a different story. That doesn't happen with frozen food.
I got a can of clams from 2019 still on the shelf, anyone want to try that....it's a nope for us. Somehow we keep forgetting to throw it out.

Hell I found some years (maybe 6+) old venison in the bottom of my chest freezer, thawed it, made jerky and lived to tell about it.
Non-frost free freezers are best for long term storage and less freezer burn. Did this come from your old one that you killed? Probably just fine then. Try it and if we don't hear from you we'll know we were wrong.

6 months maybe... Freezer burn kills meat taste, and old meat loses taste too. Might be "ok" to eat, but will taste like shit, nothing worthwhile saving. For a few bucks, just go get some fresh burgers! It's isn't zombie apocalypse any more, lol... Plenty of meat at the stores! You could defrost em before cooking, which is the better way to cook meat anyway, not from a frozen state. Once defrosted just do the smell test and you'll know, Good or Bad, hahahaha
Buy a vacuum sealer and self seal, works better and lasts longer. For future consideration... Just saying.

I just read an article that states that food kept in a deep freeze may be good INDEFINITELY.
When you wish to use it, look at it, then smell it.
If it looks fine, smells fine, it quite likely is fine.
