Eh, while it definitely wasn't a route I don't think he did that bad, especially as the night went on. He was a little too animated and almost mini-Trump-esque in the beginning but landed some good points as the time went on. Honestly, the only thing Hochul had was that she remained completely calm the whole time regardless of what Lee threw at her and her Jan. 6 and "illegal gunz" talking points. That was it.

One missed opportunity on Zeldin's part was when she said you can't just remove the DA, would be ask how she got here...

I know there's some minutiae in the comparison, but Cuomo was on the brink of being ousted. It would have served to remind people what lead to her holding the office in the first place. Meet the new boss...same as the old boss.

Otherwise, I think he did ok...he certainly didn't hurt himself.

I agree, when abortion came up if I were Lee I would've said "So you care about women so much where we you when your former boss was sexually harassing dozens of them in his office?"

You mean the one that biden (supposedly) just got his 5th jab from? The "vaccine" they are trying to make comparisons to polio vax?

Funny, when I was a kid I got vaxxed for Polio, as did everyone else my age along with small pox, typhoid, etc. I don't ever recall "rebound" cases or "less severe" cases or endless "boosters".

I only watched the last ~15 minutes of it. Zeldin did pretty good. Wasn't a fan because I simply dislike politicians, but that slightly snarky wise ass attitude is quite refreshing. Can't quite put my finger on where we have seen that before.

Hope he wins, but I probably won't be here, and I still have no hope for this state. I WILL vote Zeldin for you on my way out.

I have stated a few times on this forum that I am not a huge fan of Zeldin. I think he is a weak candidate and not at all close to being the Republican that I want in charge.

He rides on the coat tails of others. I do not think, if he wins this race, NY will get all that much better.

In saying this, I do think that Lee was spot on his game tonight. He was a bit intense at times and I think he could have hit some of his points a bit harder.

Kathy, all that she had was I, I, I, Trump, trump, trump and Abortion, Abortion and Abortion.

The voters did not get their monies worth tonight\

BTW, I do not think he is going to win., I hope I am wrong.

Paywall. Can't read it. But if the NYT is calling it a toss-up, most except die-hard leftists will see Zeldin as the victor. I also think he won, but I won't discount right-leaning bias either. But the NY Post article was pretty good.

I was glad to see him stronger than he appeared during the primaries.

I watched on Fox Business YT channel. 96K views and growing. Good news? I hope so.
