I was going to make same comment. The term build as compared to assemble is loosely interchanged in many aspects of creating things.

It is but it shouldn't. It takes away from the accomplishments of an actual builder.

The owner of the large construction company probably didn't lay a finger on a hammer but, he built the bridge/ skyscraper or dam.

Like Harley Davidson. They don't make motorcycles anymore. All they do in USA is assemble things other companies made for them. The engines come from Mexico (they both manufacture and assemble there), the front ends are Showa in Japan, and the rest comes from Germany, Italy, China and Taiwan. China is lights and electrical. Taiwan is chrome so they can avoid EPA. H-D tries to keep that low key of course because the elitist bikers think they have a USA motorcycle and that makes them better people than riders of others brands; but the truth is out there.
