I was looking for something to get me out of the house with my kids over the winter months so I searched youth shooting leagues in Buffalo, NY. I can to ten X shooting club in Lancaster, NY. Tonight was the first night and it was a great group of guys. My kids had a blast. For now they are just getting it running, but it went well. To start it's just air riffles. My kids shot great. They are looking for more people to do it. It will start in November and run every other month. I just thought I'd post it here. I have no affiliation with them other than participating in this program, well my kids.
A side not I will say I was pleased to hear that the NRA provided them with 10-12 PCP air riffles and I would guess the same amount of .22 riffles. I know the NRA doesn't do much in NYS, but without the grant it would not be possible. Also cabelas and DD's Ranch provided a good bit of money. They also mentioned that none of the other local guns stores provided anything. Most were rude or didn't respond. I was disappointed to hear that.
