This is, IMHO, the only solution.

Unfortunately, I agree. The left will either steal or cheat their way back into power, and then the reckoning will begin. They will go after every conservative business, news agency and maybe even some outspoken citizens. Freedoms will be stripped. The 1st and 2nd amendments will be fair game, along with others. These "leftists" decry any opposing voice as a "Nazi" or fascist, when they themselves are the true fascists in the room. The quote about the next fascists being anti fascists may not have ever been said by Churchill, but it is certainly looking like it is true.Unfortunately the second option will be the one that succeeds. The left is VERY loud right now and will unlikely settle down. The Right is a bit smug with a certain attitude of "our guy won, now go away." The Right is not shouting nearly as loud. As such, the Left will draw more from the right then the right draws from the left. Next election, the left will be out in force. I would expect one third the one half as many more on the left to show up at the poles. Unless Trump shows that the differences between the left and right are not as far apart as the media reports AND his plans are an overwhelming success for the country, economy grows, unemployment all but ends, he proves his immigration plan is open to all and truly keeps out terrorists, we don't end up at war, and on and on. It is a difficult road on which Trump only has 4 years to operate.
The country will never split like option 3 suggests without a civil war. Even then, unlikely. So many people cant afford to move a few miles let alone relocate to another part of the country. Will these people simply fall in line with the territory they live in?
The only real hope is with the Supreme Court and hoping that seats vacate in the next 3 years allowing Trump to appoint those who will work for the Right.
Only if we let happen. Everyone bleeds. Leftists bleed. Let's get it done people.Unfortunately the second option will be the one that succeeds. Best not to assume anything lest ye be caught flatfooted.Sorry but I disagree. The left is imploding. It is loosing Bigly. It is only helping Trump. Pussy eared vigina wearing losers burning and looting are making that happen.
The guys in black are the Nazis.I dont know what will happen, but I do know this.
I will NEVER give into the left.
I will NEVER agree with their perverted views.
I WILL die before either of those happen.

And the water, and the power, and the fuel. Basically, what do the cities provide anymore ? Paperwork ? They stopped being manufacturing centers decades ago.uuum I would just like to point out to those that lean to the left, it's the redneck, hillbilly conservatives on the right that control THE FOOD!!!!
you want to see the left go batshit crazy, cut off the food supply to the major cities
LET THE GAMES BEGIN. Im going to go live on a farm
Within a week, maybe two they would be hell on earth in a SHTF situation. And the water, and the power, and the fuel. Basically, what do the cities provide anymore ? Paperwork ? They stopped being manufacturing centers decades ago.
Well depends on the city. Cities like NY and just about every major city in SoCal are net importers. Chicago still has a lot of stuff outgoing. In general though, yes, the flow of goods and materials seems to flow from red to blue. The Carolinas and Georgia seem to be economic powerhouses. Lot of materials going in and many goods coming out. I'm hauling raw magnesium to Georgia for instance. Wonder what it's for?And the water, and the power, and the fuel. Basically, what do the cities provide anymore ? Paperwork ? Is Chicago actually making much of the stuff they ship out, or are they just a hub where goods are being exchanged from ship to truck, etc...Well depends on the city. Raw materials go in, finished product or components comes out. Chicago is still pretty industrial. Is Chicago actually making much of the stuff they ship out, or are they just a hub where goods are being exchanged from ship to truck, etc...
Economy of Chicago - WikipediaRaw materials go in, finished product or components comes out. Chicago is still pretty industrial.
the Chicago Metropolitan Area, is home to 29 Fortune 500 companies and is a transportation and distribution center. Manufacturing, printing, publishing, insurance and food processing also play major roles in the city's economy. The total economic output of Chicago in GMP totaled US$547B in 2012[1] making Chicago the 21st largest economy in the world[2] just surpassing the total economic output of Switzerland.
Chicago is one of the biggest commercial hubs of the country. It's the crossroads of the northern half of the country. I do a lot of pet food runs into and around there, lot of cereal and baking materials like flour and mix. I do a fair amount of raw material runs like pulp board and aluminum coils too. A lot of it is through the immediate surrounding areas. Which is good because Chicago is a real bitch to drive a truck around. Lot of low overhead clearances. For me, the runs I do, I'd say that on average I'm in and out of Georgia more than any other state. But then I'm based in PA so that has more to do with it.Economy of Chicago - Wikipedia
So, sounds like they still make a little bit, but 90% of what they make is paperwork, And most of the goods they actually handle are just forwarding freight.
Shut down the fuel and you shut down the trucking. Shut down the power and you shut down the fuel. Not sure how long the power would stay on without the trucking, but I bet it's measured in days at best. Its scary how fragile the whole system is.Incidentally the fastest and most dramatic way to shut down the country is to halt the trucking. None of the stores you go to stock more than 1 day of goods. Look up just in time inventory management. If all the trucks in the country stopped for just on day every shelf would be bare by the following morning and would stay that way for weeks. For example:
I will take a load of grain mix for cereal from one city to a plant in another hundreds of miles away where the cereal product is then taken in great big totes to a packaging facility hundreds of miles elsewhere. The boxes also come to the packaging plant from hundreds of miles away. From there the filled boxes go to a distribution center also likely hundreds of miles away and so on. This whole country is criss crossed by a tenuous web of extremely decentralized system of production and distribution. It is an incredibly fragile system. It makes economic sense because freight is so cheap, ever since the transportation industry was deregulated sparking a race to the bottom of freight pricing. Think about that the next time you are stuck behind a truck huh?

To use a colloquial analogy, most rank-and-file Leftist Progressive 20-somethings are zombies. They act on pure emotion. They are focused on destroying everything that does not fit within their world paradigm. They do not really think, they just act; and act ever more violently. Individually, they are an annoyance and present only a fleeting, limited, hazard. But in large groups, steered by a puppet master through the mainstream media, they are a real danger. They use social media for command and control. The real leaders are always hidden and are never accessible. So, we will be forced into a veritable war of attrition. The Left will sacrifice masses of their useless idiots. But, we value every life...especially those of law-abiding constitutionalists.
Will the Right have the intestinal fortitude for a prolonged low-intensity conflict during which many will eventually be harmed when the easier path will be to just go along "with the [self-professed] majority?"
I favor an amicable division of the heretofore United States.
