Bottom line, just like a petulant third grader on recess, these judges thumb their judicial noses at the Supreme Court ruling by collectively shouting, "So? What ya gonna do about it?"
There is no apparent penalty for legislators and judges who flagrantly violate the constitution and Supreme Court decisions. They KNOW that they are wrong. But, they also know that it will take decades and millions of dollars extracted from law-abiding citizens to reverse the malicious legislation.

It doesn't matter anyway. Basically the only places you can carry is in your vehicle as u drive down the road or private property open to the public which has a sign posted. Tractor Supply and Thorpe Electric in Rensselaer are the only places I've seen signs posted. You are also required to secure your handgun in a fireproof lockbox which is bolted to the vehicles frame prior to entering a restricted location.

Sorry but the information you posted doesn’t match your initial post about it. It says nothing about attaching it to the vehicles frame and fire proof and fire resistant are two very different things.
Perhaps you should read it again. 1) there is a HUGE difference between "fire resistant" and "fireproof". 2) nowhere does it say that the case must be bolted to the frame of the vehicle.
When all this garbage first came out there was a guy locally that happens to be the president and media face of a statewide gun rights organization that kept going on various tv, radio and other media outlets proclaiming this same misinformation, except he added "waterproof" to the list of inaccuracies. As far as the fire proof and fire resistant debate goes....u guys wanna split hairs...its all good...I stand corrected....im 100% positive over the summer I read that the lock box had to be bolted to the frame....it appears that is not the case.

But what you quoted does not support what you said. You said fireproof and bolted to the frame of the vehicle. What you quoted was fire resistant with no mention of being bolted to the frame of the vehicle.

if you know anything about cars/trucks. Can you or the .gov please explain how anyone could bolt a gun safe to the FRAME of any vehicle?
I bolted mine to the floor of the truck, but there is no physical way to bolt a safe to the frame

My original point was meant to express that all the ppl getting all excited about their hunting/target permits getting automatically rolled over into unrestricted concealed carry permits means virtually nothing. Believe me...ive held an unrestricted CCW for 33 years and I'm here to tell ya that an unrestricted permit as of right now is useless....
