She likes to wear her status as a "woman" of "color" on her sleeve; this is really important to her because she's brown, as if people who aren't brown don't find anything important about their heritage. She's a success story because her parents were hard working people of color in a racist nation, even though she says at other times that America is not a racist country. She likes to talk about how the cops were called on her father at a fruit/vegetable stand, and how sad it was. She made sure the Confederate flag disappeared from the SC capital, after she had previously supported the flying of that flag for years; seemingly to my mind she has no problem sticking her finger in the wind when it comes to preserving American history, or at least some of the bad parts that are just as important as the good parts IMO. She thinks people are mean when they talk about the illegals invading their own country, but says we must stop illegal "immigration" out of the other side of her mouth. She loves the "war" in Ukraine.
She's a Chamber of Commerce "republican." Interestingly, she served on the board of directors of Boeing after she resigned as Trump's ambassador to the UN. Boeing, like Lockheed Martin (and many other companies with huge, revolving lines of extended credit from FedGov) are the kinds of places ambitious politicians end up on their way up the food chain, as they work those contacts to provide for themselves opportunities for their own future, political or otherwise. Also, Boeing has a big presence in South Carolina, so do the political math on her getting on the board of directors there.
As far as the 2A goes, she likes to do photo shoots of herself shooting scary guns, and she has stated she has a SC concealed license. You've probably not heard much from her otherwise because she rarely talks about the 2A as far as I know or have found.
Here is one of the few a statements by her on the 2A:

On the other hand, here is an article that talks about how she was letting her administration illegally hold up the renewal of concealed permits in South Carolina, and that she tried to make the "gun lobby" shut their traps when they voiced opposition to what was considered an anti-First Amendment "ethics reform" bill:

My take on her is that she is a globalist, but do your own homework.
Regardless, she has a snow ball's chance in hell of ever living in the White House. I doubt anyone wants her as a running mate either.
ADDENDEM: Almost forgot this. Her "success" story as an "immigrant family of color" that had it hard is total bullshit. Her old man had a masters in biology before the family went to live in Canada so he could get his PHD. Nothing wrong with the fact that her parents were educated and hard working, but how much of a "success story" is she really with at least one parent with a PHD in a serious field of study and teaches at a college? And her mother grew up in a rich family in India, and had a law degree... LOL
